Taunton Sinfonietta is a chamber orchestra based in Taunton, Somerset, bringing together professional musicians who share a love of live performance. The repertoire spans the classical canon, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, alongside twentieth-century works and new commissions, so every concert offers something familiar and something unexpected.
Taunton Sinfonietta presents a small number of concerts each year, including daytime family matinees alongside evening performances in Taunton venues. The aim is to grow the performances over time, with affordable tickets and where possible a portion of proceeds supporting music education in Taunton schools.
